βI grew up in povertyβ¦.and today, God has blessed me with a fulfilling and abundant lifeβ
As a girl, I didnβt think I was good enough or pretty enough. I grew up in a rural farm area in Vietnam and some of my earliest memories are of my parents working long hours in the fields. I used to feel bad for our family because we worked so hard and still lived in poverty. I knew I was loved and yet I longed for more in my life.
As the oldest child, a seed was planted in my heart to take care of my parents and my two younger brothers. At 24 years of age, a received life-changing news that my aunty would be sponsoring me to become a United States citizen. Filled with hope and $100 in my purse, I got on a plane to Minnesota and traveled to a foreign land. When I first arrived, I was greeted with many challenges. I came to the US only knowing Vietnamese and did not have a driverβs license. For 2 years, I walked to school so I could learn English, many times in freezing winter weather. In spite of these beginning adversities, I was determined to make life the best that I could.
Over the years, I missed my family deeply. Although my understanding of English improved, I still had difficulty communicating. Three years after my arrival to the US, I bought a nail salon and ventured into sole proprietorship. At the young age of 27, I was managing employees, paying taxes, and learning American culture. Although there were many challenges, hope was stirring in me as I overcame many challenges.
At 29 years of age, my life was starting to get traction. The nail salon business was growing and I managed to purchase a home. This was a significant accomplishment in my life. That same year, one of my dreams came true when the sponsorship approval of my parents and one of my brothers was approved. Words cannot capture the joy that filled my soul, knowing that we would be reunited.
I always dreamed of rainbows and of living in a place where the mountains meet the sea. Traveling to Hawaii for what I thought was a vacation ended up being the place I met my soul mate, John. As love has it, my family and I left the cold winters for the aloha in the Hawaiian islands to open up to yet another adventure.
Being familiar with business, I opened up another nail salon as my primary source of income. Working with chemicals daily, took itβs toll on my skin. For 18 months I had a chronic skin condition and I prayed that God would help me. This simple prayer, opened the door to the introduction of Kangen water. Iβm so thankful to have amazing results after drinking it.
During this time, Covid hit and I became worried about finances. I again prayed and asked God how I was going to pay the mortgage, the business expenses, and survive with my family. I clearly heard his voice, βKangen opportunity.β
β
One step lead to another step and today, I am the grateful owner of Blessed and Beautiful. I get to share my faith and improve the lives of people each day by sharing about the benefits of Kangen water.
My humble beginnings were a set up for the financial freedom and success that I have today. I am grateful that I can give my parents the retirement they deserve and honor them for their dedication and hard work during my childhood.
Be open to God because He is always guiding you and desires to give you a blessed and beautiful life too.
